About Type Miner
A typing speed test with a pickaxe. A word appears on the rock; type it to smash through and dig one metre deeper. The clock starts on your first letter and runs for 60 seconds. Wrong letters don't move you forward and they lower your accuracy. At the end you see your words per minute, your accuracy and how deep you got. Around 40 words per minute is a typical speed; 60 or more is fast. Words get longer the deeper you go. Tip: don't look at the keys, and keep a steady rhythm rather than rushing.
